Positive Markets

Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This policy explains what personal information Positive Markets (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. You can read every free lesson without giving us any personal information.

1. Information you give us

When you ask for 1-on-1 coaching or join the Premium waitlist, we collect:

  • your first and last name;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number and its country code;
  • your trading experience and when you plan to start trading; and
  • your annual income bracket. You can choose “Prefer not to say”. We ask because it helps a coach understand what is realistic and responsible for you, for example how much, if anything, it makes sense to risk.

2. Information collected automatically

  • Approximate country. Our hosting provider tells us which country a request comes from, based on your IP address. We use it to pre-select your phone country code and store it with any enquiry you send. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry.
  • Browser information. We store your browser's user-agent string with your enquiry to help us spot spam and fix technical problems.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

3. Cookies and embedded videos

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Lesson videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube except the preview image until you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy.

4. How we use your information

  • to contact you about the coaching you asked for;
  • to tell you about Premium when it launches, if you joined the waitlist;
  • to tailor coaching to your experience and circumstances;
  • to protect the site against spam and abuse; and
  • to meet our legal obligations.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on your consent and on steps you asked us to take before entering into a contract (for responding to your enquiry), and on our legitimate interests (for keeping the site secure). You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as our website host and database provider, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions, and where required by law.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may store and process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact us as described below. We will not charge you, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where required.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will tell people on our contact list.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the contact form on our coaching page, and tell us it is a privacy request when we get in touch. See also our Terms of use and Risk disclosure.
